My Boys

Workout

Wednesday

4 miles-9:40 pace

Thursday

5 miles-9:30 pace, speed work followed by more weights

Thursdays workout was a great workout. After every lap I would up the speed on the treadmill by .1 until I was sprinting and then go back to my starting point. It was freezing outside and I was working up a good sweat. The result: really foggy windows, gross. haha

Yes, Grey’s Anatomy is my guilty pleasure, don’t judge.

Lately, Jackson has been a daddy’s boy. I absolutely love it. Although there are times where I’m a bit jealous that when we walk in the house he instantly starts yelling for dad hoping he’s around the corner, I still find it extremely cute.

Wednesday we went out to Texas Roadhouse with some close friends. If you’ve never been, go, it’s delicious! But, know that it’s a very loud restaurant. J didn’t think it was loud enough so he would just yell to ‘fit in.’

Thursday night a friend that the hubs and I both worked with got married! These boys look so dang handsome, not to mention so much alike! I love the bond that they have with each other. Josh was watching the BYU’s Bowl game after the wedding and I walked in to find J and Josh in the same exact position enjoying the game. Love them!

About Sugar Plum Runner

Welcome to the Sugar Plum Runner! I grew up in WA state, but currently reside in UT with my husband Josh, son Jackson, and 2 daughters Lily and Claire. I love running, but I have never been so inspired to run, race, and blog about it since 4 years ago after I had Jackson. I grew up playing soccer and cheered in high school. My favorite part of both sports(and yes I consider cheer leading a sport) was the conditioning. I found myself running after practice was over on my own. That's when I realized that running may be the sport I really loved.
