So much to do, so little time

Thursday- 5 miles followed by 2 minutes of abs(all the attention I had, then I lost it ha)

Friday- 3 miles

Monday(today)- 5 miles 9:26 pace

Merry Christmas Eve! This morning we slept in until 8am and then I jumped on the treadmill to get a quick run in before all the days fun filled festivities. I started at a 6.2 and then went up .1 every mile and then the last mile pumped it up to 7.0. It felt really good to get some speed work in after take 2 rest days.

Today We’re headed to Josh’s grandparents, then to my sisters house, and then to Josh’s parents house for the night. I can not wait for Jackson to open his presents. Holidays with kids are a million times better.

It has been pretty busy in this neck of the woods, (says everyone in the month of December.) I love to be busy and love when the busyness(yes it’s a word, look it up;) involves all of my family. My parents are here in UT this Christmas so it’s been so fun to be able to see both sides of the family. I also love being able to come home and have our routine.

All let the pictures speak for themselves of what we’ve been up to the last couple of days.

Date night with the hubs

Playing blocks with Grandpa Steveson

Making ginger bread houses with cousins

Talking with Jared(Josh’s bro) who’s serving a mission in Singapore

Merry Christmas!!

About Sugar Plum Runner

Welcome to the Sugar Plum Runner! I grew up in WA state, but currently reside in UT with my husband Josh, son Jackson, and 2 daughters Lily and Claire. I love running, but I have never been so inspired to run, race, and blog about it since 4 years ago after I had Jackson. I grew up playing soccer and cheered in high school. My favorite part of both sports(and yes I consider cheer leading a sport) was the conditioning. I found myself running after practice was over on my own. That's when I realized that running may be the sport I really loved.
