Tuesday- 3 miles, slow recovery miles
I woke up a little sore from yesterday’s workout. My arms were more sore than my legs, so I decided to take it easy and only do 3 miles. I wouldn’t let myself go any faster than a 10min mile. I know I would’ve been fine to do more miles or go a lot faster. I also know, that I don’t need to push myself to the max every workout.
I’m trying to take my non-speed work days easier and really let my legs recover. I’m also trying to figure out what my body is capable of. So, today I took it easy.
Do you take a day off after a hard workout? Run slower? Any tips for running smarter?
Today was no different than any other day lately, freezing. Not my favorite thing.
So, to brighten things up, I got to go see my sister Leah and her boys. J was in play heaven! So many toys and people to play with him. He seriously played all day, no naps, no crying, and no whining. He was entertained all. day. long. I had so much playing with my nephews and connecting with them again.
