Thursday-10 miles, 9:35pace
Since I ran on the treadmill this morning I made a plan of attack so I could get through 40 laps. . . I thought in my head I’m just doing a 2 mile warm up, then when that was over I increased the speed slightly and did a 5k, then increased the speed and did another 5k, and then a 2 mile cool down. I listened to music and watched Grey’s Anatomy episodes. Oh, and I got really sweaty. I don’t think I’ve ever sweated this much, gross.
I know it’s not November, but I’m trying to be more thankful all year round so I can look back and remember the moments that really matter in 2013.
I’m thankful for our warm house. I’ve mentioned it before, and I’ll mention it again. It’s freezing this winter and I’m grateful for my cuddle buddies, space heaters, and extra blankets.
I’m thankful for my support system. I love having family that text, call, chat with me and really care about my world as much as I care about theirs.
I’m thankful for exercise and a body able to perform. I love being able to start my day with a run.
That’s all for today’s thankfuls, but there will be more to come. I definitely want to make this more of a habit.
