The Zoo in Winter

Workout

Thursday-4 slow miles,  I’m trying to take it easier this week since I was sick last week, ease back into things.

It’s embarrassing to say that from my 10 minute bike ride on Tuesday my tooshie was SORE! It’s even more embarrassing to say that I may or may not have pulled a muscle while doing it? I’m not really sure since I’m no pro on the bike, but I feel 100% better today and I’m glad I took a rest day yesterday.

Any pros out there? Am I just a wimp or what?

J is obsessed with a lot of things. If you haven’t noticed, I too am pretty obsessive with certain things (i.e. running and food). I definitely have a type A personality. J finds something and becomes obsessed. He’s always been keen of the dinosaurs, he loves choo choos (train), remember Bullseye? He loves elephants  and tries to imitate the noise they make with a funny grunting noise. Yesterday we got to go to the zoo for free and see some elephants! J loved it and proceeded to make his ‘elephant noise’ throughout our time at the zoo=)

It was still pretty chilly out, but it was fun to hang out with my SIL’s Whit and Alisha.

he was happy I swear...

What type of personality are you?

Do you have a planner, do you use it? I use mine religiously. Everyday, all day haha

About Sugar Plum Runner

Welcome to the Sugar Plum Runner! I grew up in WA state, but currently reside in UT with my husband Josh, son Jackson, and 2 daughters Lily and Claire. I love running, but I have never been so inspired to run, race, and blog about it since 4 years ago after I had Jackson. I grew up playing soccer and cheered in high school. My favorite part of both sports(and yes I consider cheer leading a sport) was the conditioning. I found myself running after practice was over on my own. That's when I realized that running may be the sport I really loved.

I’m pretty obsessive too. I have a planner and use it religiously!

  3. I have a planner and I am a planner. I like details and logic and organization… but lately I’ve been trying to be more relaxed. I have found that this nice balance of having things organized for important aspects of my life (school, work, bills) and a “go-with-the-flow” attitude for other aspects has really mellowed me out and has made me less highstrung.

    I plan, everything. 🙂

  5. I am totally type A and I have a pink planner that comes with me everywhere! Complete with color coated entries!

  6. I had this awesome planner I used religiously, but since I started working, and got all hip with Outlook, I use my outlook calendar like nobodies business. I do know several people at work who use that in conjunction with a physical planner, but I haven’t gone back to that.

  7. I’m a Type A, total planner. Too much so. I’m a teacher, so I think it comes with the territory. 🙂 Thanks for visiting my blog. I’m excited to read yours!

  8. 4 miles is awesome! Have a fun girls night!! 🙂

  9. I love my planner! How else would I know where I was supposed to be on any given day at any given time?! 🙂
Just reminding me of your Bullseye post made me smile!!

  10. I just found your blog (thanks for commenting on mine!) and your son is adorable 🙂 I am not a planner at all, I hate committing to things ahead of time :S
