Monday- planned 5 miles + stretching
Yesterday was a very successful rest day. I even did a little foam rolling. . .
And then these happened.
Yup, one of my favorite part about Sundays are the cookies=) Growing up next to my Grandma’s house, all the cousins would meet up on Sundays and my aunt Christy would make these same cookies. Gotta love traditions.
Let’s check in with last week’s goal:
Long run (14-16 miles). I did my first 15 miler=)
Make a new healthy meal. Thank you Shannie(my cousin). This Carribean Salad was delicious and so easy. It tasted similar to my favorite, Aloha Salad from Rumbi’s.
I wanted a good tempo run. That didn’t happen. I was still recovering from my cold and wanted to really rest up for my long run.
Plan family night(Monday nights). Success!
Goals for 3/3-8
1. Tempo run. Feeling great this week, ready for some speed work.
2. Sign up and finalize the races I’ve been obsessing over.
3. Play outside with J! The forecast shows this week is supposed to be beautiful, yay!
