Cure Cabin Fever by going to a Cabin?

I mentioned in yesterday’s post we were headed to my in-laws cabin Saturday afternoon. Even though we had beautiful weather, the cabin was snowed in.

The scenery on the way is so beautiful!

Luckily, we know this(it happens every winter) so my in-laws store an ATV at the bottom of the hill. Unluckily, that means we all(and all our bags/food) have to ride up on an ATV.

SAM_2306J loved it. . . clearly. No worries, the next second he was fine and loving tolerating it.

We love going up there to get away. There’s no internet so we usually watch movies, play games, eat way too much, and be entertained by the lil ones. (J danced so hard last night his diaper fell off, we couldn’t stop laughing) One day I’ll post of video…

J slept through the night which is amazing since he usually never sleeps well anywhere but his own bed, and we got home to this wonderful box of  German chocolates on our doorstep=) Our neighbor traveled there this last week and thought of us, she’s too sweet!

Today my agenda consists of an easy run(half marathon on Sat.) thousands of loads of laundry and then heading South to chill with my SIL’s (Sister in laws).

What are you doing today?

How do you cure cabin fever?

About Sugar Plum Runner

Welcome to the Sugar Plum Runner! I grew up in WA state, but currently reside in UT with my husband Josh, son Jackson, and 2 daughters Lily and Claire. I love running, but I have never been so inspired to run, race, and blog about it since 4 years ago after I had Jackson. I grew up playing soccer and cheered in high school. My favorite part of both sports(and yes I consider cheer leading a sport) was the conditioning. I found myself running after practice was over on my own. That's when I realized that running may be the sport I really loved.
