Wacky Wednesday

Tuesday- 5 miles on the stationary bike. I did a resistance workout, and lasted 20 min of the 30min workout. I’m gonna call it a win.

Wacky Wednesday

I have a lot of random things to share with you today.

1. All day yesterday Jackson walked around with this monkey blanket. It’s been sitting in his blanket basket next to his bed since he was born. He’s never been attached to it(he already has a baby blanket that he sleeps with) but he wouldn’t put it down. He also had to be carrying one of his dinosaurs and his horse. This kid. . .

2. Hummus. Yes, I know everyone else and their dog eats it and has been for years. Today I bought some for the first time and loved it. I’m a texture person and I just didn’t think I would like it, well I do. I dip carrots and pepper in it=)

3. I finally got a foam roller! Remember last time I tried to get the ones on sale at TJ Max? Well, they got more and for only $17!

4. I’ve never been a bronzed beauty, but I sure like to pretend to be. It’s getting close to swimsuit season so I thought I’d try not to blind people with my paleness. (Here’s to hoping;))I’m so excited that they finally figured out how to make tanning lotion not smell like burning rubber. Do you see that sticker on the top left corner? It’s true, it smells great!

Is your Wednesday wacky? Any random thoughts?

Do you use self tanner?

What’s your workout? I’m hoping to run outside since my husband works from home today. Rain might ruin my plans=(

About Sugar Plum Runner

Welcome to the Sugar Plum Runner! I grew up in WA state, but currently reside in UT with my husband Josh, son Jackson, and 2 daughters Lily and Claire. I love running, but I have never been so inspired to run, race, and blog about it since 4 years ago after I had Jackson. I grew up playing soccer and cheered in high school. My favorite part of both sports(and yes I consider cheer leading a sport) was the conditioning. I found myself running after practice was over on my own. That's when I realized that running may be the sport I really loved.

  1. Welcome to the hummus world, there is no shame in just eating it with a spoon either 🙂 I can never self-tan. I’m so pale that even the slightest hint of color looks so out of place and weird. I’m just that girl in a hat and a t-shirt at the pool.

  2. I LOVE hummus but I have never tried that flavor! Looks delicious! I don’t self tan, but somehow my legs retain my tan all throughout the summer. Not sure how that works, but not complaining either. I took today off because I am having issues with my IT band/hip and don’t want to injure it more since I LOVE running and would rather take time off and be miserable then not be able to run long-term due to an injury.

omg I need to use some self tanner- I am SOOOO pale!! And I’m actually not a huge hummus fan..somethings weird about it to me. Levi’s new thing is he has been carrying around my Gossip Girl DVD case? weird!

  4. I need to get a foam roller, that would help me a whole lot.

  5. That hummus sounds amazing!! I love a spicy kick to my hummus :).

  6. Foam rollers are great! So is hummus!!

  7. Cindy says:

    Hummus…yum! I haven’t seen that variety-where did you find?

  8. jumpeatrun says:

Yay for finally trying hummus! I am so happy you are now on the hummus boat. Are you loving the foam roller or what 😉 ?

  9. Hummus is so great!

I use self-tanner on occasion, but I usually end up sweating some of it off and having weird lines, haha!
