Tuesday Tangents

Workout

Monday- 6 miles, 9:20 pace

I needed to get them miles in a bit earlier on Monday. I got a few miles in before the lil one woke up, but when he did I made him a comfy bed and turned on, what else? Toy Story=)

Tuesday Tangents

1. My SIL got a the coolest double stroller(she’d due any day now with baby dos). I got to watch her lil guy yesterday so I took it out for a stroll. It’s amazing and is even a jogger! It’s City Select brand.

2. I made these cupcakes on Sunday. They are full of cream and topped with more chocolate and I didn’t think they were that great on Sunday, but they are so much better the next day! I love spaghetti the next day too, weird I know.

3. I got to work with 3 women for church for months now and I love them! Last Sunday my ‘job’ changed and I won’t be working with them as close anymore. My sweet friend knows me too well and gave me an entire box of french toast sticks as a parting gift. Seriously, love.

4. My friend introduced me to this delicious yogurt, granola and fruit parfait. Now I can’t wait to eat it for a snack or breakfast, so good!

photo(334)Any Tuesday tangents?

Are you a bit jealous of J’s comfy ‘bed’ while I ran? I am…

Do you like foods better the next day more than they day they were made?

About Sugar Plum Runner

Welcome to the Sugar Plum Runner! I grew up in WA state, but currently reside in UT with my husband Josh, son Jackson, and 2 daughters Lily and Claire. I love running, but I have never been so inspired to run, race, and blog about it since 4 years ago after I had Jackson. I grew up playing soccer and cheered in high school. My favorite part of both sports(and yes I consider cheer leading a sport) was the conditioning. I found myself running after practice was over on my own. That's when I realized that running may be the sport I really loved.

Super jealous of the comfy bed!
I like all pasta better the next day (and eaten cold) generally the same rule applies to pizza too πŸ™‚

I agree that spaghetti is better the next day. That stroller looks huge! I don’t know how you mamas run with those things!

  3. Some foods definitely do get better after sitting and soaking in the flavors over night. Penne with vodka cream sauce is definitely one of those things!

  8. I made a butternut squash mac and cheese that was a super weird consistency the first night. But after some time in the fridge, it tasted awesome reheated!

  9. Comfy bed looks good! I slept in this morning and took a rest day and it was super nice πŸ™‚

    Oh and I want a cupcake πŸ™‚

  10. I love spaghetti squash reheated… I think it just resoaks up all it’s juices plus whatever spices/sauces you’ve added and tastes amazing!

  11. I can’t even imagine for a SECOND that those beautiful cupcakes weren’t delicious right from the start! πŸ™‚
I like cold pizza the next day almost as much as I like it when it is delivered.
