Goodbye UT, Hello WA

Workout

Tuesday- quick 3 miles

I thought I only had time for a 3 miler because I had a meeting at 10am. Jokes on me, I wrote down the wrong date, the meeting isn’t until next week. Doh!

At least I was up and dressed by 10 am, so I called my cousin and played at her house with J and her cute little girl. =)

Goodbye UT!

I get to visit my mom and dad this weekend in WA. I’m so excited to visit her, and guess what? My little sister Bree is coming along too(and J of course). I love visiting, I love seeing my parents, and I really love running in WA air.

In preparation for our trip I needed to do laundry, unfortunately, my washer broke just as I put my first of about 5 loads in=( Fortunately, my awesome husband had already been scoping KSL(similar to Craigslist) and found the washer I had been eying. We got a killer deal and I’m one happy mama=)

The night was spent doing laundry with a smile on my face=) and I captured this beautiful pic of the mountains near our house. Seriously UT, you have grown on me. . .

How’s your week going?

Anyone getting some good Spring runs outside in?

Do you enjoy doing laundry? As long as I have a working washer and dryer I don’t mind it at all=)

About Sugar Plum Runner

Welcome to the Sugar Plum Runner! I grew up in WA state, but currently reside in UT with my husband Josh, son Jackson, and 2 daughters Lily and Claire. I love running, but I have never been so inspired to run, race, and blog about it since 4 years ago after I had Jackson. I grew up playing soccer and cheered in high school. My favorite part of both sports(and yes I consider cheer leading a sport) was the conditioning. I found myself running after practice was over on my own. That's when I realized that running may be the sport I really loved.

  1. I am not a laundry fan at all and I always have this irrational fear that I will shrink all of my clothing! haha Oh well. And planning on an outdoor run this weekend πŸ™‚

I don’t mind doing it but I HATE folding and putting laundry away!!

  3. Gorgeous photo of the mtns! Would love to run by that kinda scenery πŸ™‚

Where in WA? My family is in Spokane. I lived there for 10 years.

Have an awesome trip! I get to go back to MI in May to see my family and I can’t wait! I use to hate doing laundry when my apartment didn’t have a washer and dryer, but we do now, so I kinda like it πŸ™‚

  6. I’ve been running outside this week, so thankful! It’s been gorgeous, but BOY is it getting hot in FL. I’m going to have to get outside earlier and earlier in these next few weeks, or I’ll have to get used to running in the heat and humidity again! I don’t mind laundry, but I HATE putting clothes away. That’s the worst part of laundry in my opinion..and the worst part of using a dishwasher!

  7. I don’t mind laundry either but I don’t dry the majority of my clothes, which is a pain trying to find space to hang dry my clothes. Otherwise, I love the smell of dryer sheets!

  8. Have fun visiting your family!!
You can come do my laundry any time you would like!! πŸ™‚

  9. It’s been a pretty busy week, but a good one πŸ™‚
That picture of the mountains by your house is breathtaking.
Happy for you that you get to see your family!! πŸ™‚ Enjoy it!
