One of The Best Feelings

Workout

Wednesday- 3 miles outside with my friend Emily

It was a beautiful morning, I truly love Spring. I’ve had a few friends that would love to start running, so Wed/Fri mornings we meet up together and do a walk/run workout. I love sharing the excitement of running with others and I never want to turn down an opportunity to chat=)

One of the best feelings is holding a newborn baby. My sister in-law(Whitney) had her baby on Tuesday and yesterday I got to hold him for the first time. He smells like heaven and makes these little noises that make me melt. Oh, and those cheeks, I think God made cheeks just for kissing, and kiss I did=)

I love seeing J around babies. He actually pretty good and loves to look at them and share all his toys with them. He wants them to grab his toys, but they can’t haha.

Annndd I’m extremely excited because as you read this J, my lil sis and I are on a plane to Seattle! I’m sad Josh doesn’t get to come, but our next trip he does=)

About Sugar Plum Runner

Welcome to the Sugar Plum Runner! I grew up in WA state, but currently reside in UT with my husband Josh, son Jackson, and 2 daughters Lily and Claire. I love running, but I have never been so inspired to run, race, and blog about it since 4 years ago after I had Jackson. I grew up playing soccer and cheered in high school. My favorite part of both sports(and yes I consider cheer leading a sport) was the conditioning. I found myself running after practice was over on my own. That's when I realized that running may be the sport I really loved.

I started running to get in shape for swimming. Funny how that works out. It doesn’t matter how we start, really, as long as we’re happy with what we’re doing 🙂 Running with other people is the best!
    As for the newborn, congrats!!!!

  3. Aw congrats to your sister-in-law! He’s beautiful!

  4. Aw what a cutie! Baby noises, ugh I die. So cute. Congrats to your SIL! Have a safe trip, no vacations planned for me as of yet but I’m mulling a few over in my head as we speak 😉

Aww congrats to the wonderful new addition to the family! That is also great that your inspiring others to run not only through your blog, but directly working with your loved ones and friends! So funny, I’m back home in Seattle too visiting my parents since our kiddos are on Spring Break:-). It was beautiful Easter Sunday, nice n warm:-). Back to rain, but the air is clean! Enjoy your vacay!!!

  7. I love the smell of newborns too! I’m taking a weekend trip to Miami and the Keys this month, but my next trip on a plane isn’t until August (and that’s to go home). When I started running, I just kinda did it on my own… I don’t really like running with others, so I do it all by myself!

What a cutie!! That’s awesome that you have some new pals to run with too!

  9. I started running for lots of reasons… fitness, health, weight, overcoming the sedentary life I was leading.
Just ran with my first running group on Tuesday. It was so much fun. I’ll be joining for sure!
