Workout
Thursday- 7 miles on the bike
I’m not bike pro, but I did 7 miles in about 20 min and my tooshie is feeling it. and my legs. and my body. Biking is no joke. I did a speed session on the Healthrider and then walked a bit on the treadmill to stretch my legs out. It’s always good to cross train(so I keep telling myself) so it felt good to take a day off from running.
Fun Friday Facts
1. On our honeymoon to Disneyland, Josh also showed me around his old stomping grounds. He grew up in Mission Viejo and we stopped by the beach. I love the beach so much. Growing up in WA our beach was freezing and full of rocks not sand=(
2. In high school I was on the cheer team my Junior year. Before each home game we had to put out our individual boxes. Before a game I was hauling my box over to my ‘spot’ and I got hit in the head with a football(the team was warming up). Seriously, I was such a nerd in high school(and still am). It was like a scene out of a movie and I couldn’t stop laughing.
3. This is one more pic from Easter weekend. I just love these boys so much. I love their sweet relationship and how much J already looks up to his dad. It’s so fun to be apart of J’s world and show him new things everyday and watch his excitement.
Any embarrassing stories you want to share?
Anyone been biking lately?
Do you like the beach? Been to one recently?
I do like the beach and now that the temps are warming up I can’t wait for a beach trip!
I know, if only the temps would warm up already!
I love the beach!! I have not been on a bike in a very long time despite the fact that I signed up for a 40 mile bike race that happens in June! eek!
Oh my goodness! You’re so brave, I hope you have a great time=)
Awww that story is so sad! I would cry if that happened to me I think. That’s really cool that you had boxes with your names on them though! Nothing better than the beach. Nothing at all. Have a great weekend, girl 🙂
I just laughed, like seriously it was hilarious haha I mean it didn’t happen during the game so that’s a plus right? I hope you have a great weekend too!
Ah my biggest fear when I cheered was getting hit by a ball! So terrifying! At least it makes a good story to tell 😉
I know, us cheerleaders need to keep a watch out lol Luckily I knew they guy that threw such a horrible ball and we just laughed.
That’s really funny! I don’t know that I have any embarrassing stories like that. I love biking, but haven’t been able to do it in a while. I’m looking forward to getting outside for a ride soon! I LOVE the beach, but haven’t been to one in forever!
I know I can’t wait for nicer temps so the whole fam can go out biking.
I have so many embarrassing stories like that- I am such a klutz and have the worst luck! Definitely haven’t been to the beach since last summer and now I live in a landlocked state!
Have a wonderful weekend!
I know how you feel, I live in UT with no beaches too! we do have a couple nice lakes though, so I’ll take that=)
Umm loooove the beach! I need some ocean in my life right now!
Yes, me too!
I went mountain biking for the first time all year last weekend and my bum was definitely feeling it, yikes!
Oh I’m glad my tooshie is not the only one that gets sore when I bike. Yay, mountain biking is so fun!
haha that is a great high school story. J and his papa are so cute in that pic 🙂
I’m glad you enjoyed it lol thanks, I think they’re pretty cute too=)
I haven’t been biking lately ~ but I am sure it’ll pick back up this summer.
The beach = meh. I know I’m in the minority here!!!
