Girls Night Out to Park City

Saturday- 3.5 miles at hotel gym with SIL

The girls stayed up really late Friday night. We had an absolute blast! We devoured Kneaders as soon as got to the amazing hotel room and then went straight to the pool.

The pictures are kind of dark because the room was dark, go figure.

There was a Jacuzzi, pool, steam room, and sauna. I can’t remember the last time that I actually swam. When I take J to the pool I usually just float around with him. Not last night, my MIL tried to teach the breast stroke, I failed, miserably.

We all stayed up super late doing our nails, eating chocolate and strawberries, andย  talking. What we do best=)

Saturday Whit and I woke up and headed to the gym. This was her first run post baby and she rocked it! 2 miles and then she followed up with abs. I skipped the abs and ran a bit more.

We headed back so she could feed baby and then we were headed to the outlets for shopping! But not before this happened, oops.

Seriously, such a fun girls night with family and friends. We decided we will be taking these trips monthly, I’m sure the hubs will be okay with that, right? PS he sent me this pic of J. They clearly were having fun without me anyway.

Where’s your favorite getaway destination?

Do you like your cinnamon rolls gooey or crunchy?

About Sugar Plum Runner

Welcome to the Sugar Plum Runner! I grew up in WA state, but currently reside in UT with my husband Josh, son Jackson, and 2 daughters Lily and Claire. I love running, but I have never been so inspired to run, race, and blog about it since 4 years ago after I had Jackson. I grew up playing soccer and cheered in high school. My favorite part of both sports(and yes I consider cheer leading a sport) was the conditioning. I found myself running after practice was over on my own. That's when I realized that running may be the sport I really loved.

  1. Looks so fun! Glad you’re enjoying your time away ๐Ÿ™‚ I don’t really take many getaways I guess but I always love time at the beach!

  2. That cinnamon roll looks amazing! I haven’t had one since I left Canada, but since I’m returning in two and a half weeks (after being away for a year!!), I think I’ll make a trip to Cinnabon ๐Ÿ˜€ And if I’m looking for a short getaway weekend, a trip to my family cottage will always do the trick!

  3. I have a really good friend who lives in Sarasota, so I love to see her, or I love to drive down to Key Largo and go back to where I did my internship. I love my cinnamon rolls gooey! I don’t eat cinnamon rolls nearly enough.

  4. Park City looks gorgeous! Glad you got some girl time!
