Workout
Friday- 6 miles, 9:35 pace with Heather
From the moment we started running I was not feeling it. My legs felt great, but I just felt so lazy ha Lucky for me, Heather is always happy and speedy so we pushed towards the end and ran a good .5 mile at a 7:20 pace(okay it may have been a slight downhill, but I’m counting it).
1. If I sleep with my hair wet, this is how it looks in the morning. When I was really little I had really curly hair, I hope I get a kid with curly hair at some point;)
2. We ran to Target to get some gifts and I can proudly say I left with only gifts and nothing for myself. J can’t say the same for himself…
3. I cut J’s hair the other day and well…I’m not so sure he liked it.
4. Let’s be honest, I should prob change the name of the blog to the blonde hair blue eyed Jackson because I’m obsessed. But here is a pic of the first time he smiled long enough for me to take a picture. It was right after he was done nursing, he loves his food.
I hope you all had a great Friday!
Who’s racing this weekend?
Okay, I need you’re help. What is the best face sunscreen that won’t make me break out??
I get super frustrated with facial sunscreens too, so I started using the Maybelline dream fresh BB cream, and its so light and tinted and has an SPF 30. I use that as a light base and just do a loose powder foundation over it and it protects me all day!
Thanks, I’m going to look that up now!
Neutrogena makes a sunscreen that is SPF 60 that is also for sensitive skin. I love curly hair and that pic is beautiful. J is pretty cute too!
Ooh, that’s what I need, I have way sensitive face skin.
If you pick a sunscreen, please tell us what one and how you like it! I’m always on the hunt for the perfect sunscreen! (also J’s face during the haircut, so cute!)
I def will. I’m going shopping tomorrow for some=)
Your hair is beautiful curly! It’s so nice to have running buddies to push you and keep you happy the whole run 🙂 I usually just use regular sunscreen on my face but I know there are ones out there made especially for faces. I’ve seen a Neutrogena one that is break-out friendly. Here’s the link! http://www.neutrogena.com/category/sun/clear+face.do?nType=2
Thank you! and thanks for the link. I have pretty sensitive skin so it’s nice if I can use something specifically for that.
I love naturally curly hair!
Poor J ~ mad about his haircut!!
You rocked that half mile!!! Good for you!
Luckily, I think he’s over his haircut, haha Thanks, I’m hoping I can keep pushing it and get faster at some point lol
