Tuesday- 3 miles, 8:39 pace on treadmill + abs and arms
Short workout, but I was able to push myself on pace since I wanted to get done faster. I’m trying really hard to just get comfortable with the uncomfortable feeling. I remember when a 10 min mile was pushing my pace and now that’s a relaxed pace for me. Always working towards something. . .
My sister Bree and I headed up to my sister Leah’s house nice and early so we could help get ready for the baby shower. I got to hold her new baby most of the day…that’s my kind of ‘helping.’
We spent the day preparing the food. Because let’s be real, people come to showers for the food. Our friend Emily makes the cutest cakes and made Bree a train cake.
J took a nap while we
ate slaved away. I measure a great nap by the hair J wakes up with. I’d say it was a fantastic nap.
The rest of the spread and the mommy to be with our gorgeous cousin.
Everyone was so generous and I can’t wait for my sister’s baby to come! J can’t either. He’s obsessed with babies and we let him hold my sister Leah’s baby. He’s saying, “baaabbyy”
