Tuesday- 6 miles on the treadmill, 9:20 pace + arm/ab workout
Yep, you read that right, that’s day 2 of doing an arm workout. Who am I? I’m not sure how you all do this, my arms are jello! I love that feeling of being sore the next day though so I’m definitely keeping it up. The 4-6 miles of my run were hard. There were a couple of stop breaks to get a drink and catch my breath. Not sure why, but sometimes you just have days like that ya know?
We loaded up the car and headed to the water park with my MIL and SIL’s. I’m not sure what beats a day in the Sun.We brought lunch and just enjoyed being outside and with family.
The boys love the water and the shade shack we brought for the baby. Luckily we got there early and by the time we were leaving, the crowds were rolling in. The early bird gets the worm, or pool in this case;)
J fell asleep on the way home, so I got cleaned up and then made a giant bowl of macaroni. It was sooo good, sometimes I just need some good old fashion mac n’ cheese.
J had his first swimming lesson of the season! A lot of his friends and cousin are in the same class and he had a blast! Obviously he already loves the water, I’m hoping we learn a few new things and maybe even help him stop drinking so much pool water.*Recognize my running buddy Heather and her cute daughter??*
