I’m back from Girls Camp, thanks for all your sweet comments on my last post. I’m trying to play catch up on all your blogs, it’s a bit overwhelming when you’ve been away from the internet for a full week=)

Let’s see, we left off last Tuesday on workouts. . . I didn’t run at all while I was away at camp. I wanted to give myself sometime to rest.
Saturday- 4 miles with Heather on the trail
It was slow and a bit of a shock since I hadn’t run in awhile.
Monday- 4 miles on the treadmill + 10 min core crunches video from NTC app + stretching
1st mile- 10 min, 2nd mile-9:30, 3rd mile- 9:22, 4th mile cool down at 9:30
It was a slower progression run, but I wasn’t in any pain. Since my last post on my knee pain I haven’t had many more problems. It’s doesn’t hurt while I run, it hurts more when I’m cramped in a car and can’t stretch my legs out. It’s weird, so we’ll see if the foam rolling and stretching continues to help.
I got back Friday morning from girls camp. I don’t think girls camp could’ve gone any better. It was such a fun week and the I think the girls had a blast too. I was ready to be home, I missed my boys and that night we kept it chill. We ate some really yummy Thai food, and then I did some cleaning up/laundry.
Saturday after my run Josh’s family had a family reunion at a water park called Cherry Hill. It was a lot of fun! My sister and her son even stopped by since she lives so close. J was so glad to have a cousin to play with in the water=)
After we met up with more family and ate at Zuppas. I had a delicious Thai chicken sandwhich with a tortilla soup. I must be on a Thai kick, but they both tasted really delicious and a bit spicy.
Sunday was the usual church/chill/hang out with family kind of day=)
Monday we ran errands and J went to his first Birthday party that wasn’t family. It was a at a pool so he was very happy. He loved the cupcakes!
