Jackson’s 2nd Birthday

*all pictures are from my phone, my SIL took great pics with her camera, but these are what I have now=)

Last Saturday was Jackson’s 2nd Birthday. It was such a fun day. I was probably more excited than he was, but he loved the attention none the less.

photo(29)I already mentioned my mom came to town for the occasion, so Saturday morning we went to Old Navy. I left Jackson’s swim shirt in Florida so we needed a new one. It’s right by a Target so of course we had to stop by. J got one of his favorite candies all to himself. . . M&M’s.

Later on we headed to my MIL’s house to set up the party. Her house is a lot bigger and can hold both sides of Josh’s and mine’s family.

J had fun ‘helping’ decorate with balloons=)

Josh’s aunt provided an awesome blow up slip n’ slide that the kids loved. J was a bit scared at first but loved going down it with his cousin Max.

He was spoiled with gifts and was so overwhelmed. He couldn’t decide what he wanted to play with because they were all so fun.

After all the fun outside we sang to him and watched him destroy his ‘smash cake’ from Walmart(only $5!)

It was such a fun day spoiling our little Jackson. I love him to pieces and feel so blessed to be his mom. He makes our life so exciting, we love watching him experience new things.

About Sugar Plum Runner

Welcome to the Sugar Plum Runner! I grew up in WA state, but currently reside in UT with my husband Josh, son Jackson, and 2 daughters Lily and Claire. I love running, but I have never been so inspired to run, race, and blog about it since 4 years ago after I had Jackson. I grew up playing soccer and cheered in high school. My favorite part of both sports(and yes I consider cheer leading a sport) was the conditioning. I found myself running after practice was over on my own. That's when I realized that running may be the sport I really loved.
