Back in town and is 3 times too much?

thursday- 3.3 miles on stationary bike + weights/abs

My mom is in town for a family reunion and I got to hang out with her and a couple of my sisters all day. I love when she’s back in town and can’t wait till it’s permanent(anyone looking for the cutest house in WA?)

We walked around Salt Lake and got some lunch at Kneaders. I got the turkey bacon avacado and it was the best decision I made that day. Not bringing enough yummy snacks for J to be entertained with was my worst decision(never will happen again). Don’t worry I just got him a chocolate bear on a stick from Rocky Mountain candy factory, everything was right in the world.

Random note of the day, fall is totally in UT. The trees along the streets were a beautiful yellow orange and we got rained on. I hope it last awhile.

And then  we went to Zupas for dinner. Obsessed is an understatement. Yes, I got the mango berry salad for the 3 time this week, and yes it was just as delicious as I remembered it.

the guy behind me taught J how to blow paper out of a straw, J loved it!

PS happy Friday the 13th! Make it a good one=)

Do you get hooked on one thing for awhile or do you constantly have to change?

Do you take risks in fashion? how?

About Sugar Plum Runner

Welcome to the Sugar Plum Runner! I grew up in WA state, but currently reside in UT with my husband Josh, son Jackson, and 2 daughters Lily and Claire. I love running, but I have never been so inspired to run, race, and blog about it since 4 years ago after I had Jackson. I grew up playing soccer and cheered in high school. My favorite part of both sports(and yes I consider cheer leading a sport) was the conditioning. I found myself running after practice was over on my own. That's when I realized that running may be the sport I really loved.

  1. I have that issue with places when I go out to eat. At Panera I always get the same thing because I don’t want to risk spending money on something I might not like as much!

Ahh you should have got them!! I’m getting some this year for sure!

  3. I’m a creature of habit, so when I find something good I usually stick with it. I find it too big of a risk to try something new when there is the potential I may not like it. Sarah and I found a Thai food place near our grad school and went there too many times to count. I think we both ordered the exact same thing every time we went.

  4. I’m a creature of habit…once I find something I like – I stick with it – and will always choose it over trying something new

I use to take more fashion risks in my 20’s but I’m kind of boring now. haha.
I totally get stuck on certain foods and want them constantly – that salad and sandwich sound delish! As does the chocolate bear on a stick 🙂

When I take a fashion risk I make sure its on a cheap version of the product (like forever 21 or something) that way I don’t spend a ton of money on something I’m not sure about.

I am not a fashionista at all. I wear very simple clothes. I talk about wanting to be a little more trendy but it hasn’t happened. One day.
