Great news and a birthday celebration

Friday- 3 miles, 10 min mile + weights+lunges/squats

Do you ever have a dripping pony after a run? So gross…

First off, good luck to everyone racing today!! I really wish I was out there with ya, especially those running Big Cottonwood, such an awesome beautiful race. Speaking of racing, I’ve had 2 weeks of great running, and so I signed up for a half marathon next month! I mentioned the Haunted Half that my SIL’s and friend Nat are running, and I finally signed up. Great news if you ask me=)

UT runners, sign up, it's only $40!!

Yesterday I got to go shopping with my SIL’s, MIL, and my friend Nat who’s was mentioned above. My SIL Whitney’s bday is a week after mine, so we always go shopping together and then have a bday dinner. I know, my birthday has literally lasted a week, it’s the best!

We had fun shopping, and J had fun stealing all of his cousins treats.

Such a great time with family and friends! Hope everyone is having a great weekend and nothing too scary happened on Friday the 13th=)

About Sugar Plum Runner

Welcome to the Sugar Plum Runner! I grew up in WA state, but currently reside in UT with my husband Josh, son Jackson, and 2 daughters Lily and Claire. I love running, but I have never been so inspired to run, race, and blog about it since 4 years ago after I had Jackson. I grew up playing soccer and cheered in high school. My favorite part of both sports(and yes I consider cheer leading a sport) was the conditioning. I found myself running after practice was over on my own. That's when I realized that running may be the sport I really loved.

  1. My tiny baby stumpy ponytail ALWAYS drips when I’m done running. It’s so gross haha! So glad that you had such fun birthday celebrations! I always try to drag my birthday out as much as possible. Congrats on signing up for a half marathon! So glad that you’re back in the game!

  2. My entire head of hair is pretty much soaked after a run which is gross. Yay for signing up for races! That should be a fun one- glad you’re feeling good and ready to race again!

  3. Happy Birthday to you! Looks like a fun day of shopping and family time!
I can’t stand my hair being sweaty and sticky on my neck so my hair is always a sweaty, jumbled mess in a bun.
