About Sugar Plum Runner

Welcome to the Sugar Plum Runner! I grew up in WA state, but currently reside in UT with my husband Josh, son Jackson, and 2 daughters Lily and Claire. I love running, but I have never been so inspired to run, race, and blog about it since 4 years ago after I had Jackson. I grew up playing soccer and cheered in high school. My favorite part of both sports(and yes I consider cheer leading a sport) was the conditioning. I found myself running after practice was over on my own. That's when I realized that running may be the sport I really loved.

  1. I saw the instagram video of Jackson last night and it was adorable! Growing up I used to read the Sunday comics in the paper with my dad while we had the Giants game on in the background. Sadly, no dance parties in my house, but looks like you guys have that covered 🙂

  2. J has some smooth moves, I saw them on Instagram! We used to spend Sundays just relaxing and always had a great big family dinner. My goals this week are to get all of my workouts in and do more foam rolling than I have been.

  6. J is the cutest! Loved that video on insta. Um please sign me up for the less eating of cookies and more of fruits and veggies. that is totally my goal too. I miss you and am in desperate need of a running buddy!

    Sunday nap sounds perfect-o! 🙂 I would have done the same (duh, I took one on Saturday!). I’m with you on those MnMs! YES! I’m thrilled your goal of getting outside and running was accomplished last week! SCORE! Sundays are always the best days to relax and catch up!
