Wednesday- 3.5 miles on treadmill
Mini Progression run yesterday morning. 1 mile warm up at 10min/mile, 2nd mile 9:40min/mile, 3rd mile 9:20min/mile, with .5 mile cool down.
This run was exactly what I needed. I mentioned yesterday I was in a bit of a funk. I actually don’t mind being in a funk because I just enjoy taking a break. I know that after no running I’m bound to have a great come back run. That I did. . .
Maybe it was because I found my old ipod. So many old music gems.
I ran a little later in the morning so by the time I was done, I was ready for lunch. So was J and Josh. Leftovers for Josh and I, J had a cheese quesadilla with sugar snap peas and applesauce. This week my goal was to find more veggie snacks both J and I enjoy, nailed it!
When Josh works from home, we all have a good time=)
And because I think this is big news. . . when did Tootsie Pops have a pomegranate flavor? Either way, it was tasty.
Later that night we went out to dinner with our friends Nic and Kandis. Dinner was so good, you can’t go wrong with Mexican food. After, we headed across the street to the Covey Center to watch the musical, Thriller. Such a good show! If you’re a fan of MJ you should definitely make time to see it.
Then we picked up this cute girl and stole her away. My cousin gets to stay with us for awhile and I’m so excited to have a buddy to hang out with me and J all day=)
