I took a rest day yesterday since I did back to back workouts Monday and Tuesday. I’m really trying to be smart about this running thing. Instead, I got J and I ready and went to story time at the library with some friends. He’s always so shy at these things, but his girlfriends helped him out.
Ended the night with chocolate cinnamon bears, it was wonderful;)
This Saturday I’m running The Haunted Half in Salt Lake City with my 2 sister in laws and our family friend. I wanted to talk a bit about my goals for the race.
1. Have fun- I’m running with family and friends and I just want to enjoy running on the bond it creates for us
2. I’m not worried about time at all, we’re running to finish. It’s my SIL Alisha and our friend Natalie’s first race EVER! I want them to enjoy it so they’ll run with me again;) Whit and I ran our first half together about 2 years ago.
3. Be a great supporter to my friends running so it can be an enjoyable run. Do you get that I’m secretly trying to make them love running? Well I am. . .
