Game on

I spent most of yesterday running errands and getting things done for today. I didn’t realize a while back when I planned on bringing my family to the BYU game that it would be on the eve of my race. Not that big of deal, just meant more planning on my part.

I spent the morning at my friend Brittany’s house. She is loaning me a costume for today, any guesses??

20131025-154300.jpgThen I headed to the store to pick up some pre-game food. I was actually very disappointed in this Harmon’s pizza=(

We were in the car a lot, so I took in some fuel in the form of a chocolate covered cinnamon bear, my favorite!

20131025-154129.jpgAnd before we knew it we were in the longest line to pick up packets(I was picking up my sisters, neighbors, and friends packet). I guess I always sign up for smaller races because I’ve never had to wait in line before. Luckily J was asleep.

It was all smooth until there was a problem with one of our packets=( It got figured out over the phone, but I wasn’t able to pick up her packet and now she has to this morning.

I came home got everything organized for tomorrow, got J ready to be babysat by Brittany(she seriously is too good to me) and off to Provo we went for the game!

It was so fun to be with my sisters and watch the game. The boys all sat together and then the girls all sat together(the seats Josh and I have are separate so we decided to split up like that). Not to mention the weather was gorgeous and pretty warm.

Off to run #6 can’t wait!

Who’s racing today?

ever have to wait in line to pick up your packet?

About Sugar Plum Runner

Welcome to the Sugar Plum Runner! I grew up in WA state, but currently reside in UT with my husband Josh, son Jackson, and 2 daughters Lily and Claire. I love running, but I have never been so inspired to run, race, and blog about it since 4 years ago after I had Jackson. I grew up playing soccer and cheered in high school. My favorite part of both sports(and yes I consider cheer leading a sport) was the conditioning. I found myself running after practice was over on my own. That's when I realized that running may be the sport I really loved.
