An arm workout that will leave you shaking

Monday- 3.5 miles with Jessica outside

It was so beautiful out! We both ended up wearing way more layers than we needed to so we stuck our extras in our mailbox. I’m loving the actual fall weather here in UT.

Laundry day= random workout attire, yoga capris and an over sized race shirt

20131111-160251.jpgAfter our run, J was still asleep so I did a quick 15 min arm workout. I used the Nike Training Club app again and this workout is no joke. My arms are so sore! I did 3 rounds of the following moves with no breaks!

20131111-160505.jpgJ still wasn’t awake, so I got ready for the day and started Monday chores. . . laundry!

20131111-160309.jpgMy SIL Whitney came over in the morning and it was so fun. We headed over to the outlets to see if we could find anything for her baby for our Santa pics on Saturday. I can’t wait to see how the boys do=) Oh, in case you’re wondering what the mall looks like from a toddler’s perspective, J stole my phone and took this.

After J’s nap we headed to the grocery store. I was picking out fruits and veggies and J kept pointing to the carrots. I told him I put some baby ones in the cart, but he insisted on a big one. So, I bought one big carrot. He worked on the for a good hour and loved it! Such a funny kid. . .

All in all it was a great start to the week. I even went to bed early, like I fell asleep at 7:30, woke up at 8:30 and was back to bed by 9.

I love running, but I have never been so inspired to run, race, and blog about it since 4 years ago after I had Jackson. I grew up playing soccer and cheered in high school. My favorite part of both sports(and yes I consider cheer leading a sport) was the conditioning. I found myself running after practice was over on my own.     What a fun day! I do 2 arm workouts a week, I love how strong they make me feel! I would have to go with mini carrots, I eat them basically everyday and they are much easier to eat than a large one!

    I do not work out my arms enough (other than rock climbing)…All over strength workouts are going to be my goal for this winter.
    We are having the same weather in Denver!!

  5. I will have to try that arm workout! Insanity definitely left me shaking and extremely sore but I like that kind of stuff… 😉

  6. I just started using the Nike Training Club App too! And I love it, all the workouts are sooooo hard! As for carrots, I like the baby version. The big ones always end up tasting like dirt to me! ick!

  7. I love working out my arms! I try to do it one to two times a week. I used to hate working out my arms, but now I love it! Your Monday sounds super productive, way to go!!
