Running and eating a lot, but not at the same time

Friday- 5 miles on treadmill pyramid workout(more on that later)

Saturday- rest

Sunday- rest

This weekend I ran an awesome run on Friday. It felt really good and I felt like a got such an awesome workout in. Then I didn’t run anymore, instead I ate a lot. It wasn’t planned, but I’m not gonna beat myself up about it.

Friday night I met up with SIL and MIL for Santa pictures. My aunt takes really great Santa pictures each year, and this year we took J and his 2 cousins to get some done. J’s cousins loved Santa, followed him around, sat on his lap, total cuties. J on the other hand, was terrified. Santa couldn’t even be in the same room as him. Luckily, my aunt knows this about kids and does amazing photoshop. So here’s J sitting alone haha

20131116-183134.jpgSaturday morning was Nat’s bday so a couple of us went out to breakfast at Kneaders. The endless french toast was amazing until I dumped it in my lap 2.5 seconds after this picture. J wasn’t even there to blame it on. . .

The rest of the day was spent watching the football game, making cookies, and lounging with my sister, her husband, and Josh. After the game we headed to Red Robin. If you know me, you know I really love Red Robin but it’s not Josh’s favorite. Last night he suggest we go, he loves me=) My sister and her husband came too, have I mentioned how much I love having her in UT??

20131116-183003.jpgOh ya, did I mention it’s been lightly snowing all weekend? Can you see the white mountains? I actually really love it.

Today we’re going to church and then lounging some more. There will be a yummy dinner and cocoa involved. I’ll leave you with one of our family pics. Whitney is so talented, I can’t wait to share more of Jackson’s pictures=)

What’s one word that would describe your weekend?

Are you a breakfast eater?

Breakfast is my very favorite meal

About Sugar Plum Runner

Welcome to the Sugar Plum Runner! I grew up in WA state, but currently reside in UT with my husband Josh, son Jackson, and 2 daughters Lily and Claire. I love running, but I have never been so inspired to run, race, and blog about it since 4 years ago after I had Jackson. I grew up playing soccer and cheered in high school. My favorite part of both sports(and yes I consider cheer leading a sport) was the conditioning. I found myself running after practice was over on my own. That's when I realized that running may be the sport I really loved.
