Friday 3 miles on treadmill +leg/butt workout the below moves, 3 times with a 5lb weight
Saturday- 4 miles outside with Heather
I took Thursday off just to make sure my leg was feeling 100%. Friday I did 3 miles at a much slower pace than Wednesday. Just so you know how much slower, Wednesday I ran 3 miles in 26 min, and Friday I ran 3 miles in 31 min. I’m finally realizing that rest, and recovery miles are so much better than pushing hard every single day and resulting in an injury.
Today I ran outside in 20* weather with Heather. She is such a champ to get up early, in the freezing cold, while she has a cold! It was so beautiful out which makes being freezing 2 hours after my run worth it.
Since I was too lazy to post yesterday, let’s play catch up.
1. J has a cold which is super sad, but it’s just the season. Luckily, he gets all cuddly when he’s sick so I get extra snuggles.
3. It’s been freezing and snowing just a bit this week. Yesterday J and I both needed to get out of the house so we walked over to the park by our house. We stayed until our noses turned red. I’m so glad J isn’t afraid of snow like last year.
