One day till turkey day

Tuesday-rest

I took a rest day because tomorrow I’m running a half marathon! I’m so excited to start Thanksgiving with a half marathon and on top of that? I’m running with my cousin(her first one), I’m so excited!!!

Yesterday was busy. I thought I had nothing really going on, but then I woke up and had a billion things I wanted to get done. J was my partner in crime, literally.

Right after nap time we had more errands and then finally we went to the park. J had been a sport all day. He was just a little bit excited to be at the park.

After Dinner, Josh hung out with J while me and my SIL and MIL went to Catching Fire. Believe all the hype, it was really good.

When I got home J told me he made a pumpkin just for me. Right before I left for the movie J knocked over and broke my one and only fall decoration(glass pumpkin that said, ‘Give Thanks’. I was pretty sad and J is a sensitive lil guy and could tell I was sad. He felt really bad, cried, and kept hugging and kissing me saying sorry. Seriously, I love my boys. . .

I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving!

what are you grateful for today?

favorite movie snack?

Mine is hot tamales. It’s what my dad always ate and I wanted to be cool like him. He also would eat green olives all the time so I forced myself to too. At least one of those stuck. . .

About Sugar Plum Runner

Welcome to the Sugar Plum Runner! I grew up in WA state, but currently reside in UT with my husband Josh, son Jackson, and 2 daughters Lily and Claire. I love running, but I have never been so inspired to run, race, and blog about it since 4 years ago after I had Jackson. I grew up playing soccer and cheered in high school. My favorite part of both sports(and yes I consider cheer leading a sport) was the conditioning. I found myself running after practice was over on my own. That's when I realized that running may be the sport I really loved.

Good luck on your half tomorrow with your cousin! There’s a half here in ATL but I think I’m going to do it next year! And that is definitely the BEST way to start out Thanksgiving – justifies allllllllll the food! 🙂

I love Junior Mints for movies. I’m grateful for my ever growing family. Tonight I met my cousin’s fiance (they get married in 1 month) and Friday my uncle gets married. So fun!

I’m so glad to hear all of the Catching Fire hype is true. Glenn and I haven’t gone yet but we intend to.
