Saturday- 3 miles on treadmill + leg workout
I was so very grateful to have a treadmill yesterday morning. I had planned on braving the snow, but when I saw it was a total windy/snow blizzard outside I took it to the good ol’ mill. Added bonus: I don’t have to put on a billion layers.

After, I did this Nike Training Club workout for the first time. I only made it 1/3 sets of the below exercises. My legs were already like jello!
I’m loving the snow this month. J loves playing in it, and it’s an extra workout shoveling my driveway. Yes, we’ve shoveled more than 4 times in the past 2 days ha
Let’s back up to Friday. I went up to my sister Leah’s house with my 2 other sisters and their kids. We always try and get together once a week even though 2 of my sisters live an hour away. It’s always so much fun.
He even played in the snow with the older cousins(he’s the one laying down).
We got home, ate dinner with Josh, and then opened up one of our Christmas books. Last year, Josh’s mom got J a bunch of Christmas books for a Christmas countdown. I’m still collecting some, but have about 19 books!
He was really excited to open a present. It’s a fun tradition and allows us to talk about Christmas. Some are fun/silly books and others talk more about Christ.
We stayed inside all day Saturday making yummy food and spending time as a family. It was perfect. We played pirates and made a telescope =)
