Workout
Tuesday- 4 miles on treadmill + arm workout
2 sets of:
20 pushups
12 tricep dips
Treadmill Tuesday: Incline is not joke
I was inspired by Karina a lot yesterday(my arm workouts are from her too). She shared some of her treadmill tips and I decided to try them and make up my own workout.
Start out at 3% incline and every half mile make it down to 1% incline, then climb back up to 3% and then back down to 0%. Mine looked like this:
3% incline @ 5.5 mph for .5 mile
2% incline @ 5.7mph for .5 mile
1% incline @ 5.9 mph for .5 mile
2% incline @ 6.1 mph for .5 mile
3% incline @ 6.3 mph for .5 mile(I had to take a 30sec break after this one, sheesh!)
2% incline @ 6.1 mph for .5 mile
1% incline @ 5.9 mph for .5 mile
0% incline @ 5.7 mph for .5 mile (Karina was right, I felt like I was going downhill)

After I finally cool down from the incline workout, we headed to get my safety inspections done on my car. J always loves when we go to Grease Monkey, they have a pretty cool play place.
We ran a lot of errands yesterday trying to get ready for Christmas. J was a champ! Just a few more things on my to do list and then we’ll be done.

I don’t do a lot of incline workouts, but I would love to try to incorporate some once I have access to a treadmill again. I am almost ready for Christmas, just a few more gifts to get!

I am not a fan of the hills! But I still put them in because I know that help with training. J is so cute! If I could travel anywhere it would be to Savannah. I love the south and at Christmastime it is just perfect!

Oh Lawdy I despise hills! But they are sooo good for training! I have to do actual hills outside… I die doing inclines on the treadmill! I am definitely not ready for Christmas! And I don’t think I would change my location for Christmas π I just hope it is a white one!

I’ve never really played around with the incline on treadmill. I usually just go flat but now I think I’m going to have to give this kind of work out a go! I’ll be home in a WEEK and while I’m there there is bound to be at least one day when I’m stuck on a treadmill because of snow or ice or cold. I’ll let you know how it goes π

I don’t do incline workouts unless I’m training for a race, it hurts my body!
I have a pretty cheap treadmill (but it’s been a good one!!) however, it doesn’t have any incline feature and I hate that because I love a good incline workout!
