Vitamin D in the winter and few words and pics

Workout

Wednesday- 6 miles outside

Yes, you read that right. I actually ran outside! Since Josh had yesterday off, we slept in and I got to wait until it was warmer out. It was so nice to just enjoy the scenery and finally get some vitamin D!!

The rest of the morning we all relaxed and played with J’s new toys.

IMG_0162Once we got cleaned up, we headed to Josh’s parents to go see the movie, The Saratov Approach, it was intense! It was at a cute little $1 theater.

20131226-211107.jpgAfter the movie,  all of Josh’s extended family had a big dinner. J wrestled and played all day with cousins and came away with some battle scratches ha

IMG_0191He got to pic a gift at the family party, and got these rubber band bracelets, he was so excited.

IMG_0204He was also excited about the chocolates. . .

IMG_0200Then the adults got to pick and steal presents

IMG_0205J passed out shortly after.

IMG_0207I think we’re officially worn out and looking forward to the weekend to chill and play.

what was the best white elephant gift you’ve ever gotten/given?

if you could run anywhere in the world, where would it be?

About Sugar Plum Runner

Welcome to the Sugar Plum Runner! I grew up in WA state, but currently reside in UT with my husband Josh, son Jackson, and 2 daughters Lily and Claire. I love running, but I have never been so inspired to run, race, and blog about it since 4 years ago after I had Jackson. I grew up playing soccer and cheered in high school. My favorite part of both sports(and yes I consider cheer leading a sport) was the conditioning. I found myself running after practice was over on my own. That's when I realized that running may be the sport I really loved.

Yay for outside runs! You’re a trooper, I’m shivering just looking at all that snow. I’d love to run through the Greek Isles. I didn’t run while I was there and really wish I could go back and check it out on an early morning run 🙂

  5. awww, J’s face while he’s getting into that box of chocolates is adorable! 🙂
