Running buddies > no buddy

Friday- 4 miles outside with Heather + crunches and planks

Is anyone else having a hard time remembering what day it is this week? It has been so nice being able to sleep in, wait till it’s out of the teens, and go running with Heather.

I even ate breakfast with lil J before running.Yes, that’s a ninja star at breakfast with us;)

Running with someone is 100% better than running alone. The 4 miles flew by(probably cuz I was talking Heather’s ear off!)

After shopping, J finally got a nap and then my parents came to hang out. I love having them in town. We went to Olive Garden for dinner, one of my favs=)

After we watched the BYU Bowl game at our house. J showed off all his toys to Grandma and Grandpa.

Who’s your favorite Ninja Turtle?

Do you have a favorite running buddy?

About Sugar Plum Runner

Welcome to the Sugar Plum Runner! I grew up in WA state, but currently reside in UT with my husband Josh, son Jackson, and 2 daughters Lily and Claire. I love running, but I have never been so inspired to run, race, and blog about it since 4 years ago after I had Jackson. I grew up playing soccer and cheered in high school. My favorite part of both sports(and yes I consider cheer leading a sport) was the conditioning. I found myself running after practice was over on my own. That's when I realized that running may be the sport I really loved.

My favorite running buddy is definitely my sister. She is a bit faster than me but it’s good because she stops me from slacking off

  2. I don’t have a favorite ninja turtle or a running buddy 😦 Bam Bam LOVES Olive Garden, too. It’s disgusting how much he wants to eat there haha!

Sounds like a great run! Super funny that you ate Olive Garden last night, my in-laws were in town and we went to Olive Garden as well!

  4. I like running buddies but I feel really bad if I’m slower than the person I’m running with and awkward if I’m faster. Although it’s obviously much easier to be faster haha But I really do like running with people. We need to get in a run together.
I LOVE the minestrone soup at Olive Garden! Yum!!

  5. I do have a fav running buddy – but they are much faster runner than me – so I always feel a little guilty – but certainly appreciate them being willing to tag along with me

  6. I’m going to need you to text my boyfriend the title of this post 😉 He hates running, but I can occasionally bribe him to go running with me with food. And OMG J as Michelangelo. Heart. Melted.

    Olive Garden is yummy…
I do love to run with anyone who will run with me :-). My favorite people to run with are Glenn and Ellie, but I do also sometimes enjoy the solitude of running alone.
