A new year and a Santa dinosaur

Happy New Year!!!!ย  I love the beginning of a new year, I hope everyone had a great night/day! Mine New Year’s started out the same as every day, with a workout.

Tuesday- 2 miles + arm workout

Some days you just squeeze in what you can. . .

Yesterday was a great day and I’m gonna tell it in random pictures and little words, so pretty much like every other post=)

J and I went over to the Dinosaur Museum(it’s in the same building that I was dropping something off) and we walked around. J thought this Santa Dinosaur was so funny.

20131231-221020.jpgThen we headed to my SIL Whitney’s house to have fun with her Christmas present. She got a shellacer? A kit to do shellac nails. It’s so awesome! Mine didn’t turn out great, but once you realize the difference from regular nail polish is not too hard.

IMG_0345 IMG_0341Then we headed out to dinner with Josh. We settled for Smash Burger and it was pretty tasty. I got the Avocado Chicken Burger but the fries and milkshake stole the show. Especially for one little guy.

About Sugar Plum Runner

Welcome to the Sugar Plum Runner! I grew up in WA state, but currently reside in UT with my husband Josh, son Jackson, and 2 daughters Lily and Claire. I love running, but I have never been so inspired to run, race, and blog about it since 4 years ago after I had Jackson. I grew up playing soccer and cheered in high school. My favorite part of both sports(and yes I consider cheer leading a sport) was the conditioning. I found myself running after practice was over on my own. That's when I realized that running may be the sport I really loved.

My sister works at the Macy’s in Herald Square in NY. She said that is the closest she has been to Times Square on NYE and that it was crazy busy. She happily went home and spent the New Year in her sweats. I would probably do the same. Seems a little too packed for my liking!

  3. Work is techinically closed, but I came in hoping to get stuff done…instead I’m just reading blogs, opps!

  4. I got today off but I’m back to work tomorrow ๐Ÿ˜ฆ I loved having a holiday vacation! I miss when I was in college and got a month off for winter break haha!
