Lil Man Date

Yesterday was a rest day and instead of getting up early to run I got up early with my lil man. He’s feeling a lot better, but he’s still coughing and not his spunky self.

We decided to go on a little breakfast date to Kneaders. This guy loves breakfast food. We ordered the endless french toast so we could be sure to get our money’s worth.

He also got a chocolate milk. He was so excited about it, it’s the little things.

We sat and chatted and looked out the windows at the birds and horses. I love this little guy.

It was snowing all day so I finally let him open a gift he got from his Birthday(all the way back in Aug). I had been saving it for a day stuck inside and since we couldn’t play with anyone(J’s still contagious) it was the perfect day.

I wanted to stick with the theme of the day(lazy/cold) so I made some bread sticks and cheesy broccoli soup.

I ended the night with Josh and a movie. So excited for the weekend!!

Do you like soup? What’s your favorite?

If you could only eat one breakfast food for the rest of your life what would it be?

About Sugar Plum Runner

Welcome to the Sugar Plum Runner! I grew up in WA state, but currently reside in UT with my husband Josh, son Jackson, and 2 daughters Lily and Claire. I love running, but I have never been so inspired to run, race, and blog about it since 4 years ago after I had Jackson. I grew up playing soccer and cheered in high school. My favorite part of both sports(and yes I consider cheer leading a sport) was the conditioning. I found myself running after practice was over on my own. That's when I realized that running may be the sport I really loved.

    What a cute date πŸ™‚
I love soup, all soup is great! I love meatball soup and turkey chili a lot!
I would eat an egg white omelet with a bunch of veggies and a side of peanut butter banana!

That sounds like such a wonderful and relaxing day! (And endless french toast sounds AWESOME!) I love little dates like that. I don’t feel like cooking tonight so I’m thinking I’ll be taking my little miss on a dinner date!

And there will be soup! (I love soup and she does too!)

  7. Butternut squash soup is one of my favorites I think πŸ™‚ If I could only eat breakfast foods I think I’d choose oatmeal. I’m boring..
