At this point I got sick of taking pics lol we all went to Costco, got milkshakes, and J and Josh wrestled till J’s bed time.

A very typical day for us and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I feel extremely lucky to be married to Josh who’s willing to work extremely hard outside the home so that I’m able to stay home with J,they are both such blessings in my life.

what’s a typical day look like for you?

About Sugar Plum Runner

Welcome to the Sugar Plum Runner! I grew up in WA state, but currently reside in UT with my husband Josh, son Jackson, and 2 daughters Lily and Claire. I love running, but I have never been so inspired to run, race, and blog about it since 4 years ago after I had Jackson. I grew up playing soccer and cheered in high school. My favorite part of both sports(and yes I consider cheer leading a sport) was the conditioning. I found myself running after practice was over on my own. That's when I realized that running may be the sport I really loved.

i love these day in the life sort of posts. You’re doing the hardest job out there (being a mom)!!! right now i’m lucky to have most of my days be very laid back but once my spring semester starts up my day will be full of commuting, classes, working out at school, and hopefully a little chilling πŸ™‚

  2. Looks like a perfect day for you and your family! A typical day for me involves getting up early to do my quiet time and workout, getting ready for work and talking to my husband as he gets ready. Fixing both of us breakfast, commenting on a few blogs as I eat, going to work, coming home, doing some things around the house, cooking and eating, then relaxing with the Hubs on the couch while maybe doing some blogging. πŸ™‚

Looks like a perfect day. My days in the summer look pretty similar (minus the small child – haha).

  4. I love it!! I can’t wait until this is what my life looks like πŸ˜‰ and yeah, taking those pictures did get a little old and got kind of stressful for me haha!

  5. haha love it! I could have written this post as well. I have a 2 yr old and am a SAHM. Its funny because today I am actually doing “A Day in the life of..” so lots of picture taking….

  6. Looks like so much fun with the little guy. I bet caring for a 2 year old is a work out in itself!!! πŸ™‚

  7. This is so cute! I love your hair–you look so pretty πŸ™‚

And he looks so cute, even during a meltdown (at least in photos)! I don’t know how you manage such a busy day and STILL get your hair to look so gorgeous! I am so exhausted in the morning I just let it air dry on my way to work. Tips, please!

  10. These types of posts are so fun! Love the melt down pic. With a two year old as well we have our fair share of those!

Haha, I love the end of this – at this point I’m sick of taking pictures! AMEN! Sometimes I’m over it too! But J is so darn cute, even whilst having a meltdown! HA! Cutie – cleaning out the bathroom! Wanna come do mine next?
    :)! I know you do!
