Wednesday- 4.5 miles outside with Heather + leg workout

It was such a great run. Seriously, Heather makes it hard to run because we laugh so hard.

You wish you looked this good in the morning;)

I loved the purple with the turquoise, reminds me of Spring, yes I’m a little excited for it=)

Tuesday I took J to Discovery Gateway with a lot of his friends. He loves running around from station to station trying different things.

He didn’t want to smile for the above pic, oops!

Yesterday we went grocery shopping, more laundry and vacuuming mixed in with some laughs. This boy keeps me laughing.

I hope everyone is having a great Thursday and that you get a long weekend for Martin Luther King day!

Do you get Martin Luther King Day off?

Josh doesn’t=(

What’s your favorite distance to run on a regular basis?

Lately mine has been 4 miles

About Sugar Plum Runner

Welcome to the Sugar Plum Runner! I grew up in WA state, but currently reside in UT with my husband Josh, son Jackson, and 2 daughters Lily and Claire. I love running, but I have never been so inspired to run, race, and blog about it since 4 years ago after I had Jackson. I grew up playing soccer and cheered in high school. My favorite part of both sports(and yes I consider cheer leading a sport) was the conditioning. I found myself running after practice was over on my own. That's when I realized that running may be the sport I really loved.

6 is my favorite here, it’s the perfect loop from my house. Also 6 is kind of the minimum I need to run to feel like I really ran, when my program calls for 3 or 4 I still feel a bit restless because 20-30 mins of running just doesn’t feel like enough on a day I’m really craving it. On a tired morning it feels like a blessing though 😉

i’ve been liking the outdoor 4-5 miler lately. It’s over with fairly quickly but it’s not so short that i feel like I have to go super fast. that’s lazyness for ya 😉

Your boy is adorable & looks like he has an awesome personality! I sadly don’t get the holiday off but I guess I shouldn’t complain about getting paid for a few more hours of work 🙂

  4. …unless you’re crying because you were laughing so hard!

  5. Lol J is the most precious thing ever! Lovin’ the goggles. It reminds me of when my sis and I were little and we would cut onions with goggles on haha. Love your purple jacket! I just got a lavender running jacket from my friend for Christmas and cannot wait to wear it!

  6. Pretty girl! I definitely don’t look good in the morning for my runs…I’m still getting the sleepies outta my eyes 🙂

  7. I don’t get Monday off either 😦 and I like 4 milers too! MFEO!

Looks like a really run day! J is just so cute!
I don’t get Monday off either, but B does 😦
I’m liking 4-5 milers as well!

  9. I get MLK off 🙂 Although, I would just be working for 3 hours…so now, I’m not working. At least at one job. Favorite distance to run would probably be four miles as well

I do get monday off! And my dad and stepmom are coming to town so that’s exciting too!
I am not ready for spring yet though- need to play in the snow more!!

  11. Haha! Love the glasses pic! He is too cute! I’m not much of a runner these days but when I do it’s typically sprints for 2-3 miles. I’m ready for spring too! Although we haven’t had much of a winter yet. We’ve been having temps in the 70’s!

  12. Thank goodness I get Monday off! I’m a teacher and the earliest I’ve left school all week was 4:30 on Tuesday because I had to help out my boyfriend who had doctor’s appointments. Otherwise it’s been 5:30 and tonight was 8:30. I even have to stay until 5 tomorrow because I (stupidly) gave a student a detention. Looking forward to a long weekend off, relaxing in Boston with my boyfriend!

I’ve been doing about 4 miles as well. Around mile 2.5 I start to feel like I want to keep going, but I don’t have enough time to do much more than 4 during the week.
