Friday-4 miles on stationary bike + arm/ab workout

Yesterday I decided to change it up and ride the bike. You might even say I needed a break from the treadmill, shocking I know! I may even do the bike again today, who am I?

20140118-083905.jpgAfter J’s nap we met up with Josh and his parents for dinner. We ate at the Outback and it was sooo good. I love the bloomin’ onion. I also got the chicken cob salad, and have leftovers, yay! J tried a lemon and actually enjoyed it.

Welcome to the Sugar Plum Runner! I grew up in WA state, but currently reside in UT with my husband Josh, son Jackson, and 2 daughters Lily and Claire. I love running, but I have never been so inspired to run, race, and blog about it since 4 years ago after I had Jackson. I grew up playing soccer and cheered in high school. My favorite part of both sports(and yes I consider cheer leading a sport) was the conditioning. I found myself running after practice was over on my own. That's when I realized that running may be the sport I really loved.

  3. Blooming onions ❤ SO GOOD! I haven't had them in a long time. I have a nasty cold, so I'm going to nap, and if I have time before a work function tonight, I'm gonna try and go to the gym.

    There were a couple weeks last fall when, due to some foot pain, I tried the stationary bike instead of running. and wow, was it a different kind of workout! It’s definitely effective but it feels totally different than running.

  6. I did 30 mins on the elliptical, some abs and 55 squats.
    Love lil J’s face when he’s looking at the animal crackers!!

  8. I bet you are getting tired of the treadmill; I know I would be! I can’t wait to hear about what fun things you did this weekend! My workout today was my long run for marathon training, so I did 13 miles this morning!
