Friday favorites and going with the flow

Workout

Wednesday- 4 miles on treadmill

I started out watching Teen Mom, but I could only handle it for 2 minutes. Seriously, way too much drama!! I resorted to my tunes and did a mini progression run. I increased the speed by .1 every .5 mile.

Thursday-rest

I’m learning to just go with the flow like I mentioned the other day. If my morning is crazy I’m not going to stress about my workout. I’m not currently training for anything so I’m trying hard to just relax.

Sorry for being MIA yesterday, it’s been a crazy(good) week. Here’s some of my favorites/happenings:)

Having a mid-morning movie date with my lil man. He loves the movie Brave and we both love popcorn so it was success!

20140123-222615.jpgWe had to run to the store for some extra things this week and when he was picking out his sticker he said, “Here mom, your favorite!” He picked out an elephant in my favorite color, purple. He melts my heart!

20140123-222606.jpgJosh took J on a little date the other night to ice cream at Sub Zero. They make the ice cream right in front of you, Josh said J loved it.

For a church activity we got together (just women) and learned how to make Manicotti. It was so easy. We’re all taking a pan home to freeze and when someone has a baby or needs help in our neighborhood we have a dinner to bring. It was a lot of fun.

20140123-222554.jpgJosh probably won’t be thrilled with this, but the other day I walked into the office and found J wearing a bunch of Josh’s ties. I love that he adores his dad=)

About Sugar Plum Runner

Welcome to the Sugar Plum Runner! I grew up in WA state, but currently reside in UT with my husband Josh, son Jackson, and 2 daughters Lily and Claire. I love running, but I have never been so inspired to run, race, and blog about it since 4 years ago after I had Jackson. I grew up playing soccer and cheered in high school. My favorite part of both sports(and yes I consider cheer leading a sport) was the conditioning. I found myself running after practice was over on my own. That's when I realized that running may be the sport I really loved.

aww, so cute! He’s a little mr. professional already. I’ve always wanted to try one of those ice cream places where they can make it in front of you, wish I lived near one. I tagged you in a fun blog post btw 🙂

  3. I love Brave, such a good movie! For some reason I’ve been super tired this week. I’m really looking forward to a relaxing Saturday night and Sunday!

  4. You are good to sit and watch a movie, I’m to impatient!
