Pre-Birthday dinner

Thursday- rest

J woke up with a bit of a cold yesterday so the day was spent playing at home. I love that he’s starting to play ‘imaginary’ and loves when I act out characters with him. He wanted to take a pic with his ‘friends’ the bears=)

Last night we went out to Red Robin because Josh had a free burger for his Birthday(it’s on Sunday but he hates when I make a big deal out of it). When I know we’re going out to eat, earlier in the day I try and eat lighter meals with more veggies and fruit. Then I don’t feel so guilty indulging in the bottomless fries and terriyaki chicken burger=)

20140206-211810.jpgThe rest of the night we watched the Olympics. J kept making this face all day and would say, “take my picture, mom!” He likes my new camera as much as I do=)

It’s supposed to blizzard all weekend, so I’m looking forward to hanging with my family and celebrating Josh’s birthday. Oh, and doing some great runs on my mill’. . .maybe I’ll brave the snow on Saturday if my running buddy Heather can come;)

who else has a February bday?

do you watch the winter Olympics?

About Sugar Plum Runner

Welcome to the Sugar Plum Runner! I grew up in WA state, but currently reside in UT with my husband Josh, son Jackson, and 2 daughters Lily and Claire. I love running, but I have never been so inspired to run, race, and blog about it since 4 years ago after I had Jackson. I grew up playing soccer and cheered in high school. My favorite part of both sports(and yes I consider cheer leading a sport) was the conditioning. I found myself running after practice was over on my own. That's when I realized that running may be the sport I really loved.
