Birthday celebrations/Monday motivation

This weekend was such a blast. I really love Birthdays so it was fun to celebrate with Josh.

I mentioned Saturday we got to go out to dinner and get massages that were so awesome! Sunday started with a crepe breakfast(one of Josh’s favs) and then we went to church.

After, weheaded to my in laws for a feast! My MIL went all out, salmon, pasta, Red Lobster biscuits, and so much more.

20140209-211928.jpgI made him a peach cobbler(courtesy of my sister Neeley’s recipe, so good!) and the shirtless Cal helped him blow the candles out=) And I caught my SIL talking, sorry!

Monday Motivation

Sometimes you just need a new outfit that you can feel good in. I picked up this Nike running skirt on sale the other weekend. It’s feminine but sporty and I think it’s super cute. If you look good, you’re gonna feel good and wanna get up and get moving!

Don’t be jealous of my awesome background of boxes and modeling skills. . .

do you like be celebrated on your birthday?

About Sugar Plum Runner

Welcome to the Sugar Plum Runner! I grew up in WA state, but currently reside in UT with my husband Josh, son Jackson, and 2 daughters Lily and Claire. I love running, but I have never been so inspired to run, race, and blog about it since 4 years ago after I had Jackson. I grew up playing soccer and cheered in high school. My favorite part of both sports(and yes I consider cheer leading a sport) was the conditioning. I found myself running after practice was over on my own. That's when I realized that running may be the sport I really loved.

cute running skirt, I love getting myself new workout clothing. I do like cake on my birthday but then again I’m also good with cookies, brownies and ice cream too. Basically I expect a lot of sugar and chocolate ๐Ÿ˜‰

  5. I ran 10 miles this morning and will hopefully hit the gym tonight after I get out of work.
