A Horror Run

Monday- 3 miles on the treadmill + ab NTC workout

This move, no words. . .

20140210-202634.jpgYesterday I thought it would be a great idea to watch the season premiere of Walking Dead while I ran. Every time I heard a noise or something intense happened I almost fell off the treadmill. It was a horror run, but at least I know if zombies do come, I can out run them for 3 whole miles. =)

20140210-202658.jpg 20140210-202649.jpgAll day yesterday I was packing and cleaning and giving things away that I don’t want/need anymore. I never really used a jogging stroller, I like to run without 30+ extra pounds. All you moms that do, you’re amazing, really!

20140210-202730.jpgOh and just this cute pic leftover from Josh’ bday. My nephew, his smile is so contagious!

do/did you run with a jugging stroller?

what shows are you currently loving?

do you still get scared of noises or scary shows?

About Sugar Plum Runner

Welcome to the Sugar Plum Runner! I grew up in WA state, but currently reside in UT with my husband Josh, son Jackson, and 2 daughters Lily and Claire. I love running, but I have never been so inspired to run, race, and blog about it since 4 years ago after I had Jackson. I grew up playing soccer and cheered in high school. My favorite part of both sports(and yes I consider cheer leading a sport) was the conditioning. I found myself running after practice was over on my own. That's when I realized that running may be the sport I really loved.

  1. ….show I’m loving – Burn Notice

I don’t get very scared while watching a scary show, they usually have more of an after effect for me. I imagine it’d be a pretty good motivator to run faster though 🙂

I give you so many kudos for watching that show while running!
I am loving Person of Interest right now!!

  4. Haha, hopefully all of that adrenaline from watching Walking Dead let you run a little faster! I really like the show but I can only watch so much of it at a time before I’m in suspense overload and I have to turn it off. 🙂

  5. I get scared just sitting on the couch while watching Walking Dead! Ha! Since I don’t have kids I haven’t used a jogging stroller yet, but I do want one when I have kids! I don’t know if I will love running far with it, but I think it would at least be good for walks.

Jogging with a stroller actually looks really hard! Especially going up a hill…no thanks! haha.
I feel like I need to do a spring cleaning with clothes and stuff too!

I did that same ab routine on Friday. I almost died. I noticed that I jump whenever I watch scary TV on the treadmill too. It adds a little extra to the workout, I think.

  8. I love your jogging stroller!

I have a love affair going on with my double jogger right now since I don’t have a gym membership or treadmill so it’s the only way I get to run! But hills are killer.

I’m the biggest baby about scary shows I get so jumpy!

  10. OMG I cannot watch scary movies/shows alone. I also require that if Kyle and I watch something scary before bed, we HAVE to watch something funny right after.

  11. I never watch scary shows/movies anymore- I used to love them, but I turned into a wuss from watching so many :p
I bet it’s great motivation to pick up the pace during suspenseful parts though!
