Swatches and hills

Tuesday- 4 miles of incline on treadmill + bicep/tricep workout

It’s nice to switch it up and do some hill/incline speed work instead of intervals. I felt strong, but by the end I was loving the cool down mile on 0% incline=)

Here’s what I did:

.5 mile at 1% incline @ 5.7 mph

.5 mile at 1.5% incline

.5 mile at 2% incline @ 5.8mph

.5 mile at 2.5% incline

.5 mile at 3% incline @ 5.9 mph

.5 mile at 3.5 % incline

.5 mile at 3% incline

1 mile cool down @ 6.0mph

We ran a lot of errands yesterday in prep of today. Today we close on both houses and get the keys! I’m so excited! I’m going into the new house today to prep to paint and clean. So yesterday, we headed to Home Depot.

20140218-210146.jpgWe went grocery shopping, to the bank, and then back home for lunch. J and I both had a pb&j cuz we were starving and then both crashed. Seriously, we both napped for about 2 hours, it was amazing! My MIL brought us over a delicious dinner and even another dinner for tonight, she is too good to us=) Then I headed to a Hawaiin themed goodbye party. The young woman I used to teach in my neighborhood through it for me and a few other leaders that are leaving too. It was so fun!

I had a lot of fun reading all their sweet notes to me, I’m sure gonna miss them!

what’s your favorite paint color right now?

About Sugar Plum Runner

Welcome to the Sugar Plum Runner! I grew up in WA state, but currently reside in UT with my husband Josh, son Jackson, and 2 daughters Lily and Claire. I love running, but I have never been so inspired to run, race, and blog about it since 4 years ago after I had Jackson. I grew up playing soccer and cheered in high school. My favorite part of both sports(and yes I consider cheer leading a sport) was the conditioning. I found myself running after practice was over on my own. That's when I realized that running may be the sport I really loved.

Great hill work! 🙂 I love the swatches you picked out too. I’m kind of going through a yellow phase right now. It’s my daughter’s favorite color and it has been growing on me because of that. And yes I am a hugger. And a high fiver haha.
