Getting in the groove

We’re slowly get into the hang of things around here. It’s still so weird to be in a new house(the whole story coming soon). We love it!
Yesterday was such a welcomed rest day for us all. Naps, dinner made by my MIL, and lounging were all that happened:) oh and some beautiful spring weather! ( and a little bit if my finger haha)

We all stayed in comfy clothes, j was so excited to take a pic of his turtle shirt at grandmas house. haha

We did have to move a couple of stuff and get our basement ready for my parents. My dad got a job here in UT and I’m so excited for them to stay with us while they shop for a home!! It was perfect timing because our new house has a kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom in the basement.

I’m hoping to get a nice run in today if my legs aren’t too sore.

Welcome to the Sugar Plum Runner! I grew up in WA state, but currently reside in UT with my husband Josh, son Jackson, and 2 daughters Lily and Claire. I love running, but I have never been so inspired to run, race, and blog about it since 4 years ago after I had Jackson. I grew up playing soccer and cheered in high school. My favorite part of both sports(and yes I consider cheer leading a sport) was the conditioning. I found myself running after practice was over on my own. That's when I realized that running may be the sport I really loved.

    that’s nice that you’re having your parents stay with you for a bit. My goal for today is to go on a run but I am massively sore from my workout the other day so we’ll see about that.

  6. My goal for today is to walk (maybe a little running) of 3 miles. Its time to get my legs ready for an end of april half!

  7. How nice that your parents are staying with you! Congrats to your dad on the new job πŸ™‚ My goal for today is to do some movement to stretch out these legs after my half yesterday…. but I’m not sure if I’m going to do my strength class (although I did no strength last week) just because they always work legs really heavy and my legs already are super sore!
