Better Late than Never?

Um, let’s just pretend that I haven’t blogged since last Friday. . .I had every intentions of blogging, but I’ve been a painting fool! I bit the bullet and painted our kitchen cabinets. It took me from Saturday afternoon to today. But I’m finally finished and I’m SO glad I did. I’m also really glad Josh convinced me to get new knobs on all the doors/drawers.

I’ll have a post on how I did it shortly.

A little catch up on what else we’ve been up to

Went out to Rumbi’s with Josh, J and my dad and got the Aloha salad, I love it. . .a lot

Went on a 4 mile run on a new route and loved the scenery. I also wore my vizor I got for Christmas. I may look like a nerd, but it’s one of my favorite things ha(thanks Whit) *see my pepper spray mom? 😉

I went to a baby shower my MIL hosted and played a game to see who could drink the lemonade out of the bottle the fastest. It’s difficult, poor babies. My MIL did awesome!

Celebrated Josh’s Grandma’s bday, she loved the little boys helping her eat the cake and blow the candles out ha

About Sugar Plum Runner

Welcome to the Sugar Plum Runner! I grew up in WA state, but currently reside in UT with my husband Josh, son Jackson, and 2 daughters Lily and Claire. I love running, but I have never been so inspired to run, race, and blog about it since 4 years ago after I had Jackson. I grew up playing soccer and cheered in high school. My favorite part of both sports(and yes I consider cheer leading a sport) was the conditioning. I found myself running after practice was over on my own. That's when I realized that running may be the sport I really loved.

Your cabinets look great! We’re currently house hunting and have a feeling we’ll have to do the same thing! 😉 we actually walked through a house that had glazed their oak cabinets, it actually didn’t look too bad. Made them just a shade darker and looked a little more modern.

  10. I love the white cabinets and the views on your 4 mile run looks so pretty! I need to do more runs out in nature, Southern California has too much cement!

  11. You did a great job – it looks like a remodeled kitchen – good for you – I’m not very DIY…so if I would have tried to do that it would have been a distaster
