Jackson’s shoes are cooler than mine

Saturday- 5.32 miles outside with Heather

When me and Heather met up I had to take a pic of our jackets they were too cute and Springy not to. We’ve both taken Winter off of high mileage and we’re both building it back up. Yesterday’s run was a great start and even better conversation.

The rest of the day Josh, J, and I headed out to find J some new shoes. He’s obsessed with these boots that are too big for him so we wanted to find some nicer shoes. Some things you also need to know about J is he loves his old boots, so we realized we needed to find him new boots, not just shoes. Well, we found him cowboy boots that light up and they have Woody and Bullseye on them. It was a big deal, and he hasn’t taken them off since.

Later that night I went out to dinner and to a church meeting with my mom, sisters, and a couple nieces. It was so fun to have a girls night together.

About Sugar Plum Runner

Welcome to the Sugar Plum Runner! I grew up in WA state, but currently reside in UT with my husband Josh, son Jackson, and 2 daughters Lily and Claire. I love running, but I have never been so inspired to run, race, and blog about it since 4 years ago after I had Jackson. I grew up playing soccer and cheered in high school. My favorite part of both sports(and yes I consider cheer leading a sport) was the conditioning. I found myself running after practice was over on my own. That's when I realized that running may be the sport I really loved.

omg, those sound like some epic cowboy boots. I am a more of a boot person myself (not of the light up variety) but I also like flip-flops. Any shoe that’s comfy and easy to slip on really.

  2. aww…he looks SO happy in his new boots!
