Friday Favs, boba to the rescue!

Friday Favorites

Yay! I hope we all made it to Friday in one piece. Unfortunately, my parents(who are living with us while they search for a new house here in UT) both got the flu!  I feel like my time is ticking away before I catch it too. I hope it’s not till after the weekend because Josh and I plan to go up to Park City, fingers crossed!

Let’s get on to some better news!

1. Josh found Boba in Draper! We used to have to drive about 20 min away to satisfy our boba need. I seriously have never seen Josh so excited. We asked the lady to make ours with water not tea(we don’t drink tea) and she thought we were crazy ha it was so good!

2. Okay, this was technically last week, but I’m still loving it! We had smore’s in our backyard with Josh’s family and it was so fun. I love these boys and how much they love their Papa and G’ma.

3. I got my passport! I’m so excited to go to Singapore this summer and pick up my BIL from his LDS mission. I’ve never traveled before, so I’m like a little kid on Christmas Eve except I have a few months to wait ha

4. New workout clothes. Nothing motivates me more than new cute workout clothes or a new playlist. Oh yes, and I thought you’d all enjoy my crazy face selfie, you’re welcome=)

About Sugar Plum Runner

Welcome to the Sugar Plum Runner! I grew up in WA state, but currently reside in UT with my husband Josh, son Jackson, and 2 daughters Lily and Claire. I love running, but I have never been so inspired to run, race, and blog about it since 4 years ago after I had Jackson. I grew up playing soccer and cheered in high school. My favorite part of both sports(and yes I consider cheer leading a sport) was the conditioning. I found myself running after practice was over on my own. That's when I realized that running may be the sport I really loved.

Boba is the best!!! And there is nothing like new workout clothes to get me excited to workout, that or food 😉 have a nice weekend, I’ll keep my fingers crossed you don’t get the flu!

  2. Ooo boba!! Sending non flu vibes for you!!! SO freaking cool you are going to Singapore! I can’t wait to see all the pics! Have an amazing weekend friend!

  3. I’m sorry your parents have the flu! I hope no one else gets it! This weekend I am going to a friend’s graduation, helping my brother and SIL move, and then celebrating Mother’s Day with the fam tomorrow!

  4. Happy weekend!! I am motivated with a new outfit as well! 🙂

  5. I ran a teeny, tiny bit today. Like 3/4 of a mile…and walked a lot and did some strength workouts – but I NEEDED to run! It’s been too long. I am paying for it, but it’s totally worth it.
Yay!! Have fun in Park City!!!
