Countdown to race: 2 days!!! I’m finally getting nervous. I haven’t been nervous for a race in so long because I haven’t ‘raced’ one in awhile. I’m focusing on getting hydrated this week, so I’m going to continue that and cut out foods with a lot of fiber. For me, veggies and diary(I’m slightly lactose intolerant) are the 2 main foods I stay away from 2 days leading up to a race, so far it’s worked=) I’ve also had this as my new best friend ha
Do you ever have those days that turn out to be super productive and successful without planning it? Yesterday was awesome like that for me and my mom. We headed out to just look at a few stores for fun and we ended up finding some great things at great prices. Like this mirror at TJ Maxx for $40!
After we ate lunch, my sister Bree came over. She’s been gone/busy the last few weeks and I was having baby M withdrawals. It was good to be reunited.
We headed out to our deck to do our nails, and J wanted to participate. It escalated quickly haha
Bree went home and Josh, J and I headed to Kneaders for dinner. The Turkey, Bacon, Avocado is the best. ever.
Our day wasn’t over, we got to go to the pool and meet up with friends. It was such a great night. Seriously, have I mentioned how much I really enjoy Summer?
