I love getting a little workout in when I’m on vacation. Even if it’s just 3 miles, I love knowing I started my day off right and then I don’t feel bad for indulging while vacationing. One way to really amp up a short workout is by playing with your incline. Friday’s workout was no joke!
Thursday we left for Cali at about noon and spent that day stuck in LA traffic. I have never experienced traffic like that in my life(small town girl here).
We finally made it to our hotel, and headed to our reservation at Rainforest Cafe. J was in heaven with all the animals surrounding us.
Of course we had to walk around Downtown Disney, it was such a beautiful night.
Friday we got up bright and early and headed to the beach after my quick workout. We went to Laguna Beach and practically had the beach to ourselves. The waves are a lot rougher at the particular beach, and J got tangled in a wave and scared to death(he was only in there for maybe 3 seconds, but scared him nonetheless). We spent the rest of the time playing in the sand.
And then something amazing happened. A woman came up to us and offered to take a family picture. If you know me, you know I’m a paparazzi and love taking pictures. I beg Josh to take pictures with me all the time, but he hates pictures haha This woman after my own heart proceeded to take several pictures and direct on what to do, she was getting down in the sand and everything. It was a bit awkward but I love having a few family pics!
After the beach, we went to lunch(Cheesecake Factory) and then a movie, How to Train your Dragon 2. J loves watching movies at the theater and he did great. It was an entertaining movie so I definitely recommend it.
