Friday- .5 mile warm up + leg workout
It has been FOREVER since I’ve done a NTC (Nike Training Club) workout and it killed my legs. I felt like I had just ran the downhill half again. I just ran enough on my treadmill to get warmed up, then I gave my all to the leg workout. I did all three sets of the following workout and my legs were already shaking my set 2. Lesson learned: don’t forget to do leg day, ever. PS I’m not gonna lie, those split jumps were NOT happening. I subbed them for a plank ha
Good thing I had my 4th of July workout outfit on(already too excited for Friday!)
Friday night we took J on our date with us. We headed to All Star bowling and had a great time. Embarrasingly, J beat me. Yup, I lost the first round and I was trying, I’m a VERY competitive person ha Josh smoked both of us both rounds.
Saturday we did some yard work, helped clean our church building, and then headed to J’s cousin Cal’s birthday party. My SIL Whit did such an amazing job. Cal loves all things tractor/digger related so he had a “construction party. The snacks and cake were so cute.
Now she needs to do Jackson’s, because there no way I’m that creative. 😉
After Cal’s party we headed to my sister’s house for another birthday party for my nephew Max. My brother Tanner was in town too! It was nice to see him, but I really wish he could’ve brought his cute family!
It was a jam packed weekend, so Sunday was nice to just be home and relax. After church we all took naps, the boys napped forever, it was perfect.
