Wednesday- walk outside with my mom 3 miles
My mom walks up a large hill everyday for her workout. Yesterday I thought I woke up early enough to go with her, so I quickly texted her that I wanted to come along. I didn’t hear back, so I thought she was just taking her time, so I went about my morning routine only to realize she had already left! I started up the hill and found her on the way down and she did the whole walk again with me. She did a total of 5 miles, yup she’s a pretty awesome mom.
I know, we look too hot to handle;)
We quickly packed up the car, and drove down with my MIL to the water park. We met up with my SIL and had a blast until it got way too crowded and over 90*! J and his cousin have so much fun together. This age is so fun for me. 7 peaks has a bunch of water slides and J loves going down them. I’m like a big kid all day, I feel so lucky to have these days to spend with my little man.
When we got home J went to bed and I got cleaned up because my friends were coming over to catch up. I forgot to take any pics, but just know it was fun;)
Okay, this is where I need all the help I can get. If you follow me on Instagram you know a little about my friend Shannon who just adopted an adorable little boy named Jack. Adoption is very close to my heart as it is with most people who have seen the amazing miracle and joy it can bring to families.
Shannon and her family have waited patiently to add to their family and are so incredibly happy they get to call Jack their own and Lydia can be an older sister. If you’re not aware, adoption can be incredibly expensive. I want to help Shannon and her family in any way I can, so what better way than to organize a race in their behalf?
Is there anyone in UT or out of state that has any tips, tricks, or volunteer work they can offer? Anything would help, thank you sooooo much!
do you like water slides?
can you help guide me in the right direction on organizing a race?
